Colonie - Monica Lisa Goldson, 40, died unexpectedly Friday, October 20, 2017.
Born in Troy, she was daughter of Robert J. Clark and Kim Lisa Sliter Clark. She was raised in Colonie and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, earned a Bachelor's Degree from Florida Atlantic University and was working on her Master's at the time of her passing.
Monica was a very vibrant caring and outspoken person. Some of her favorite things to do were spending time on Lake George with family and friends, boating and swimming.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her grandfather, Herbert Alan (Patricia Balsam) Sliter; a sister, Vanessa Jean (Aaron Tilley) Clark; aunts and uncles, Dorinda Sliter, Jane (Dean) Schreiner, Lois (Keith) Langley; cousins, Lorinda (Thomas) Gonyo, Jennifer (Robert) Kramer, Morgan (Matt) Lemos, Brittany Langley, Bradford Langley, Micah Lemos and Katie (John Richter) O'Keefe and close friends, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Rolfe and their children, Kane and Kingston and David and Dana Ferguson. She was predeceased by her grandmothers, Jean Sliter and Lillian Clark.
Calling at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 4-7 PM. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Blooming Grove Cemetery Defreestville.
