Clarence Clinton 'Digger' O'Dell

Troy Clarence Clinton 'Digger' O'Dell, 80, of New Turnpike Road, died Tuesday at Northwoods at Troy after a long illness.
Born in Troy, he was son of the late Frank and Minnie Ornesby O'Dell. He had resided in Troy all his life.
Mr. O'Dell worked as a janitor at the Rensselaer County Courthouse for several years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
He is survived by two sisters Louise Brown of Troy and Margaret O'Dell of Hudson. He was predeceased by a sister Helen O'Dell and two brothers Dennis and William O'Dell.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:30am at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Those desiring may meet at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue in Troy at 9:30am to process to the cemetery.
