Nancy J. Ocker Curran, 75

North Greenbush - Nancy J. Ocker Curran, 75, of Eastwyck Circle died Saturday, January 11, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late John D. Ocker and Dorcas Bull Ocker. She had resided in Troy most of her life and the past 2 1/2 years in North Greenbush and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School class of 1956 and attended Becker College in Worcester, MA.

Nancy was a clerk for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany for 32 years, retiring in 2007.

She loved spending time with family and friends, doing crossword puzzles and crocheting, was an avid Yankees fan and active in several bowling leagues and PTO when her family was in school. She was a communicant of the former St. Patrick's Church in North Troy.

Survivors include four daughters, Colleen (Gary) Zebrowski, Colonie, Maureen (Kenneth Jr.) Bonesteel, Brunswick, Erin Sherman, Troy and Stephanie (Kevin) Mannis, Troy; a son, Stephen (Terry) Curran, Rensselaer; a brother, James (Lynn) Ocker, Vero Beach, FL; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Shirley Ocker, Anne (Leonard) McHugh, Mary Folsom, Jack (Kay) Curran, Joe (June) Curran and William (Linda) Curran; her grandchildren, Brendan, Adam, Emily, Joshua, Noah, Kayleigh (Kyle), Chelsea, Jordyn, Sean, Katie, Benjamin, Nicole (Christopher) and Amanda; a great grandson, Dylan and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Jack Ocker.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday, from 4-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9 AM at the funeral home and at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.
