Sheri A. Duncan

Pittstown - Sheri A. Duncan, 50, of Brundige Road died Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of William C. Duncan and Carol M. Anselment Duncan of Brunswick. She was raised in Brunswick and resided in Pittstown for the past 12 years and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School. 

Sheri was a secretary for 17 years at SUNY in various departments most recently in the University Center for Academic and Workforce Development.  

She enjoyed training her dog, Jessie with her mentor, Bob.  Sheri had a fun loving, sarcastic sense of humor.    

Survivors in addition to her parents include three children, Cassondra Duncan, Anthony Upton and Dominique Duncan; a brother, William C. (Karen) Duncan, Jr., Schaghticoke; a sister, Stacey (Todd) Matala, Valley Falls; two precious grandchildren, Sara and Luke; her nieces and nephew, Jennifer, Ryan, Brooke and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10-12 Noon with a service at Noon with Rev. Desmond Francis, officiating.

Interment will be in  Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Sheri Duncan to the Hudson Mohawk Recovery Center 1724 5th Ave Troy, NY 12180.
