June D. (Furciniti) Malek

Troy - June D. Malek, 51, of  Willis Street died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of Gerald Furciniti and Nancy  Prosser Furciniti and wife of Paul Malek. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.

June was employed by Verizon as a data processor for the past 13 years.

She loved being a mother.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, Sara Teta,  Anthony Ragosta, and Rachel Malek; her sister, Jodi Furciniti and brother Jerry Furciniti; and  1 niece and 4 nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Furciniti.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday, from 4 - 6 PM.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on  Monday  at 10:30 AM at  Sacred Heart Church Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. James J. Vaughan, officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of June D. Malek to the Sacred Heart School Fund 310 Spring Avenue Troy, NY 12180.
