John J. Signorelli

Wynantskill - John J. Signorelli, 83, of Reichard Lane died Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at his residence after a brief illness.
 
Born in Troy, he was son of the late John A. Signorelli and Jessie Pagure Signorelli and husband of the late Betty C. Clifford Signorelli. He was raised in Troy and was a graduate of St. Patrick's School, Catholic Central High School and the GE Apprentice Program. 
 
John married his high school sweetheart, Betty Signorelli on November 6, 1954 and moved to Wynantskill in 1957.
 
John was a Group Director of the Real Property Planning and Utilization Group for the New York State Office of General Services for 33 years, retiring in 1996.   
 
He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill, an active member of the Troy Lodge of Elks and St. Jude’s Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Knight.    
 
Survivors include his children, John J. (Debra) Signorelli, North Greenbush, Peter F. Signorelli, Albany, 
Terri A. (Brian) Campbell, Rensselaer, Mary B. (Mike) Leonard Signorelli, Schodack and Michael T. Signorelli, Troy; his grandchildren, Nicole (Josh) Gregg, Jessie, Cameron and Sylvia Signorelli and Nicholas Arango and Stephanie (Scott) Estridge; four great grandchildren, Andrew, Ethan, Michael and Mason; a brother, Lindo (Marilyn) Signorelli; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis (Bud) McGrath, North Greenbush and William (Elaine) Clifford, Manchester, NH and several nieces and nephews. 
 
John is now happily reunited with the love of his life, Betty.

Relatives and friends may call at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue Wynantskill on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 4-7 PM. 
 
Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 AM at the CHURCH where a Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated by Rev. Anthony Ligato and Rev. John Varno.
 
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery Wynantskill.
 
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of John J. Signorelli to the St. Jude the Apostle Church 43 Brookside Avenue Wynantskill, NY 12198.
