Jeanne Theresa (D'Avignon) Kippen

Troy - Jeanne Theresa Kippen, 72, of  Clark Avenue died Wednesday, November 05, 2014, at Crouse Hospital  Syracuse, NY after a long illness.

Born in Troy,  she was daughter of the late Earl R. D'Avignon and Elsie  Hansen D'Avignon and wife of the late Kenneth K.  Kippen Sr. Raised in Watervliet and has resided in Troy for the past 50 years and was a graduate of Watervliet High School. 

Jeanne was a homemaker.

She was a member of Jermain Memorial Ecumenical Presbyterian Church in Watervliet and prepared many of the dinners for the Evening Star Lodge for many years.    

Survivors include her 2 sons, Kenneth K. (Michele) Kippen Jr., Troy and Russell E. (Jennifer) Kippen, Bridgeport, NY; her grandchildren, Kenneth III, Zachary, Jake, Davis, Sam, Drew and Shelby Kippen, She was predeceased by her brother, Harold D'Avignon and sister, Alyce Baker

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday November 13  from  4-7. 

Funeral service will be held Friday at 10AM at the Jermain Memorial Ecumenical Presbyterian Church 601 Fifth Avenue in Watervliet.        

Interment will be in  Albany Rural Cemetery Menands.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Jeanne Theresa Kippen to the Jermain Memorial Ecumenical Presbyterian Church.
