Henry Blunck

Henry Blunck, 49

Menands Henry Blunck, 49, of Broadway, died suddenly Tuesday at Albany Memorial Hospital Albany.

Born in Brooklyn, NY he was son of William and Guste Hansen Blunck of Sunnyside, NY. He was raised in Queens and resided over 20 years in New Paltz, Albany and Menands and was educated at Bronx High School of Science and Lehman College in the Bronx.

Mr. Blunck was a beloved teacher at Albany County Association of Retarded Children in Slingerlands for the past 20 years.

He was an active member of the Brunswick Church including the Mens Ensemble, Choir, the Book Group and was a Bible teacher.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a brother, Harold Blunck and wife Gwendolyne of Queens; two uncles, Herbert Hansen and wife Anne of Las Vegas and Hans Gietrich and wife Marianne of Long Island; an aunt Herta Mohrmann of Toms River and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00AM from Brunswick Church 42 White Church Lane Brunswick with Harry J. Heintz and Kate Kotfila, Pastors, officiating.
