Theresa Zayhowski Strom, 76

Poestenkill - Theresa Zayhowski Strom, 76,of Heritage Road Poestenkill, died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at her residence after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Peter Zayhowski and Mary (Casey) Zayhowski and wife of the late Charles E. Strom.

She was raised in Troy and resided in Poestenkill for the past 50 years and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy and Hudson Valley Community College.

Mrs. Strom was employed in the accounting department at Bendix for many years retiring 31 years ago.

She was a very active communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church in North Greenbush.

She is survived by her brother, John (Tina) Zayhowski of Tucson, AZ, an aunt, Mary Zayhowski of Troy and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Finnen.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 9:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 9:30 AM at St. Michael's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-6 PM.

Interment St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
