Troy - Scott W. Colarusso, 49, of Munro Court died suddenly Friday, August 29, 2014, at his residence.

Born in Troy, he was the beloved son of Shirley Baker Colarusso of Troy and the late Michael Colarusso. He resided in Troy all his life and was a graduate of Troy High School, Hudson 
Valley Community College and attended Siena College. 

Scott was employed as an information representative for the New York State Office of the Comptroller for the past 16 years. He was also the proud owner and manager of Mickey's 
Mousetrap in Latham for several years. 

He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy and a real sportsman, enjoying golf and following his teams: the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. He was known for his 
wittiness and wonderful sense of humor. 

Survivors in addition to his mother include a daughter, Victoria Colarusso, Schenectady; his siblings, Tracee Colarusso, Troy; Teri-Kay Colarusso (Dr. Axel Herrmannsdoerfer), Averill 
Park; and Michael Colarusso, California; the love of his life, Rachel Sanford; three nieces, Kay-Leigh and Jamie Stacy, and Bella Colarusso; and many many friends.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 6 at 11 AM at the Sacred Heart Church Pawling Avenue Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Scott W. Colarusso to the American Cancer Society One Penny Lane Latham, NY 12110.
