Robert E. Knaupp, 41

North Greenbush Robert E. Knaupp, 41, of Zelenke Drive, died suddenly Monday at Albany Memorial Hospital after being stricken at home.

Born in Troy, he was son of Theresa Cushing Knaupp of Troy and the late John F. Knaupp and husband of Kathy Picarazzi Knaupp. He had resided in Troy most of his life and the past 3 years in North Greenbush and was educated at Troy High School, Hudson Valley Community College and Empire State College.

Mr. Knaupp was a mortgage broker for Hudson River Mortgage Corp. in Albany for the past 10 years.

He was manager of the North Greenbush Men's Over 30 Basketball League.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include a son Robert John Knaupp of North Greenbush; a daughter Carrie S. Knaupp of North Greenbush; two brothers John J. Knaupp of Troy and Bob's twin brother Richard A. Knaupp of Schenectady and a niece and two nephews Katelyn, Ryan and Connor Knaupp all of Schenectady.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 12:30pm from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy and at 1:00pm from St. Michael the Archangel Church in North Greenbush where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
