Linda R. Deyoe Bacon, 56

Ballston Spa-Linda R. Deyoe Bacon, 56,of Ballston Spa, died suddenly Sunday, February 19, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy after being stricken at work.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of Ruth (Wheeler) Deyoe of Schenectady and the late James Deyoe.

She had resided in Ballston Spa for the past 18 years and was educated at BOCES in Saratoga for nursing, flight attendant school in Virginia and Mildred Elley in Albany.

Ms. Bacon was a licensed nurse and most recently worked at Walmart in Clifton Park as a greeter.

She was an active member of the Ballston Spa United Methodist Church.

Survivors in addition to her mother include a daughter, Laura Phelps (Michael Marcus) of Sand Lake; two sons, Robert J. Phelps (Joanne) of Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, AK and David Sealy (Kim) of Texas; a brother, Henry J. Deyoe of Schenectady and three grandchildren, Tyler Marcus and Joshua and Jonathan Sealy.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Ballston Spa United Methodist Church 101 Milton Avenue (Route 50) Ballston Spa with Rev. Brooke Newell, Pastor, officiating.
