John Henry Miller Jr., 90

Ballston Spa - John Henry Miller Jr., 90, of Maplewood Manor Ballston Spa, died April 2, 2008 at the home after a brief illness.

Born in Poestenkill, he was son of the late John Henry Miller Sr. and Lottie Reddish Miller and husband for 35 years of Eleanor E. Miller Miller also of Maplewood Manor.

He resided in Poestenkill for many years and attended Troy High School.

Mr. Miller operated a farm with his father and brother, prior to working at Behr-Manning in Watervliet, Penny Supply Company and he was a truck driver for Boyertown Casket Company in Menands. He was an avid fisherman.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Patricia Taylor, Barbara Rifenburg and Donna Perrault and a brother, Henry V. (Martha) Miller or Brunswick. Also survived by several grandchildren and his wife's grandchildren, Krystie Patrick and Andrew, Caroline and Joseph Manna and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Helen C. Clements.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. David Martin, officiatiing.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 1-2pm prior to the service.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of John Miller to the charity of ones choice.
