Joan M. Hostettler, 83

Colonie - Joan M. Hostettler, 83, of Colonie Manor died Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Albany Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Peoria, IL, she was daughter of the late Clarence Robison and Flossie Larkin Robison. She was raised in Peoria IL, lived in Tampa , FL for 8 years and recently moved to Colonie. She was a 1947 graduate of Woodruff High School in Peoria, IL.

Joan was employed by the Bank of America in Tampa, FL in the accounting department.

She enjoyed playing board games and cards, volunteering at church and quilt making. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Bartonvile, IL

Survivors include a son, John (Kelly) Hostettler, Watervliet; a daughter-in-law, Diane Hostettler, Bartonville, IL; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Eric L. Hostettler and 6 sisters including her twin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service which will be held Tuesday at 10AM at Faith Lutheran Church 50 Leversee Road Speigletown with Rev. Stephen Cordes, Pastor, officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Joan Hostettler to the charity of one's choice.
