William L. Foley

Speigletown - William L. Foley, 62, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at his residence after a hard fought illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late William E. Foley Jr. and Rose Artinian Foley. He was raised and resided in Troy for many years before moving to Speigletown in 2019. He was a 1980 graduate of Troy High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Siena College in 1984.

Bill started his career at Albany Memorial Hospital in the accounting department, eventually working at Macy’s and Filene's in Colonie in fine jewelry and men's tailored suits.

Many years ago he was the youngest member of the Troy School Board and currently was a communicant and cantor of Our Lady of Victory Church and a choir member at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church. Bill enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing piano, singing, and spoiling his beloved dogs!

Survivors include his siblings, Karen E. (Jeffrey) Kulas, Freehold, NY, Sharon A. (Valerie) Foley, East Greenbush, Catherine M. (William) Gauthier, Latham, and David M. (Denise) Foley, Troy; his Goddaughter, Kate Kulas and several nieces and nephews and his beloved pets, Rufus, Roxie, and Daisy.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, June 9, 2025 fro 4-7PM.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at  10:00AM at Our Lady of Victory Church 55 North Lake Avenue Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
