Vincent J. Mainillo, Jr.

West Sand Lake - Vincent J. Mainillo Jr., 65, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his residence.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Vincent J. Mainillo Sr. and Joan Catherine Yetto Mainillo and husband of Antoinette Provost Mainillo. He was a lifelong resident of West Sand Lake and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.

Vincent was a mechanic most of his life working for Adams Chevrolet and most recently for Fuccillo Ford, retiring in 2021.

Vincent loved anything with a motor; he was a former race car driver and loved tinkering with cars. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. He loved camping and loved spending time with family and friends at camp. He was the greatest fan of his grandchildrens’ sporting events and activities. 
 
Survivors in addition to his wife, Antoinette, include his son, David (Maria) Suitto; his grandchildren, Jessica and David Suitto; his siblings, Linda (Timothy) Cherry, Troy, George Mainillo, East Greenbush, Joseph Mainillo, Clifton Park; his brother-in-laws, Peter (Nancy) Provost and Curtis (Patty) Provost; and sister-in-law, Carole Quinn; his Aunt Bea Provost; his niece, Micka Evans; his special friends, Mary Ellis, Harry Hale and Scott Owens; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Deborah Reynolds.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 NY150 in West Sand Lake on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 4 - 7PM.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 10AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Sroka, officiating.

Interment will be in St. Henry's Cemetery in Averill Park.
