Troy - Thomas A. 'Juje’ Cerulli, Sr., 77, of Mellon Avenue died Saturday, May 19, 2018, at St. Peter's Hospice Inn Albany after a long illness.
Born in Troy, he was son of the late Alphonse Cerulli and Angela Monaco Cerulli and former husband of Patricia Levitto Cerulli. Tom resided in Troy area all his life, was 1958 graduate of Troy High School and attended steamfitters trade school in Albany.
He was a plumber for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union #7 in Latham for 25 years.
Juje was a long time member and past president of the Emerald Athletic Club in Troy. He was a diehard NY Yankees fan and dedicated L.A. Lakers fan. He enjoyed golf and his trotters horses for which he was a part owner.
Survivors in addition to Patricia, include his children, Thomas A. (Toni) Cerulli Jr., Troy, Albert F. Cerulli, Cohoes and Tina M. Cerruli, Niskayuna; his siblings, Vito Joseph Cerulli, Latham, Maryanne Ackner, Troy, and Michele T. Cerulli, Troy; his grandchildren, Paige (Brandon), Jason, Nicole, Elaina and Josh and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 4 - 7PM.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 9AM at the funeral home and at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church 55 North Lake Avenue Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Randall Patterson , Pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
