Averill Park - Stephen A. Fisher, 77, died Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Albany Medical Center Hospital following an illness.
Born in Concord, NH, he was the son of the late Thomas Fisher and Patricia Murphy. He was raised in Henniker, NH and attended Henniker High School.
Stephen was a lifelong carpenter and enjoyed making custom furniture. He loved camping, fishing, kayaking and skiing. Although he resided in the Capital Region for many decades, New Hampshire always had a special place in his heart.
Survivors include his children, Jeff Fisher, Christian Parker and Seth Fisher; his siblings, Larry Fisher, Sherri Derry, Thomas Fisher and Kara Dow; a step brother, Edward Pare and his grandchildren, Trenton, Liam, Grace and Jack Parker and Cameron and Brendan Fisher. He was predeceased by his siblings, Marita Hammond, Rick Fisher and Nora Derry.
A celebration of life luncheon will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 12 noon - 3PM at the Averill Park Fire Department, 35 Eastern Union Turnpike Averill Park.
