Stephanie (Hughes) Dean Givney

Colonie - Stephanie Hughes Dean Givney, 48, died Sunday, December 6, 2020, at her residence after a brief  illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Albany, she was daughter of Larry Hughes and Lynette  Kramer Hughes of Castleton and wife of Stephen Givney. She was raised in Rensselaer, resided in Troy most of her life and in Colonie for a short time and was a graduate of Rensselaer High School. 

Stephanie was a mortgage specialist for M&T Bank for 17 years.  

She enjoyed traveling, camping and had a passion for interior design.    

Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include two sons, Travis Hughes, Rensselaer and Tyler (Ashley) Dean, Voorhees, NJ; a daughter, Casey Dean, Halfmoon; two grandchildren, Lucca and Liam Hughes; four sisters, Tracy (Terrence) Barney, East Greenbush,  Courtney (Dan) Marsello, Rotterdam, Summer (Philip) Hahn, Nassau, Paige (Steve) Wilson, Castleton; a brother, Bradley (Camela) Hughes, Melrose and several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 4-7 PM. DUE TO STATE RULES, 35 PEOPLE AT ONE TIME ARE ALLOWED IN THE FUNERAL HOME. PLEASE LIMIT YOUR VISITATION TIME SO OTHERS MAY ENTER.  Face covering and social distancing are required both outside and inside during visitation.
