Obituary

Canajoharie - Sandra Case Smith, 78, Canajoharie died Thursday, November 17, 2022, at her residence after a long  illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late John L. Case and Raytie Thomas Homsey. She had resided in Albany  and Canajoharie most of her life. 

Sandra was a former member of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church many years ago.    

Survived by a sister, Jeanette Rourke, Schenectady; nieces and nephews, Mary (Brad) Frey, Deborah Rourke, William Haefeli, Nancy Geller and Frederick Haefeli; a great nephew and niece, Joseph and Erin Farmer and a brother-in-law, Jack Haefeli.  She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Haefeli. 

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10-11AM with a funeral service to follow at 11AM  with Rev. Amanda Wagner, officiating. 

Interment will be in  Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Sandra Smith to Liberty Foundation, 43 Liberty Drive Amsterdam, NY 12010.
