Sandra "Dee Dee" L. Cluett

Clifton Park - Sandra "Dee Dee" L. Cluett, 83, died Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Schuyler Ridge Health Care after a long illness.

Born in Lansing, MI, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. Cluett, Jr. and Jeanne L. MacChesney Cluett. She had lived in Lansing, MI for 5 years, Omaha, NE for 7 years, and resided in Troy and Eagle Mills for most of her adult life. She graduated from St. Agnes Episcopal School in Loudonville in 1961.

Dee Dee started working for Albany ARC, which became New Vision, in the residential program. She was a direct care counselor for 21years retiring in 2004.  She was a volunteer at New Visions and a former member of The Junior League of Troy.

Survivors include her brother, Albert E. (Lynn) Cluett, III; her nephew, Albert “Peter” E. (Jennifer) Cluett, IV and their to sons, Sam and Caleb; her niece; Elizabeth (Timothy) Hall and their 2 children, Keiley and Ryan; her nephew, Timothy (Cindy) Cluett and their 2 children, Braden and Kirsten; her niece, Jennifer (Simon) Jeffery and their 3 children Merrick, Tyler and Evelyn; and her nephew, David (Kelly) Cluett and their 3 children, Haylee, Landon and Jacob. She was predeceased by her brother, James M. Cluett and her long time friend, Linda Stevens.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 1PM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy, NY 12180, with Rev. Jim Knapp, Officiating.

Interment will be in  Oakwood Cemetery Troy.
