Robert Joseph Myers, Sr.

Brunswick - Robert Joseph Myers Sr., 78, of Route 7 Brunswick died Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at his residence after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late John Francis Myers and Elaine Marie Clemente Myers and husband for 50 years of the late Elizabeth V. Krupa Myers. He was raised in Troy and resided in Brunswick for 8 years and attended Troy High School. 

Bob was a machine operator for the General Electric Company, silicone division for 23 1/2 years, retiring in 2002.   

He was a member of Union Local #359.    

Survivors include his children, Robert J. (Becki) Myers Jr., Dawn Marie (Steve) Bashford, Dave J. Myers and Debra Ann (Paul) Neal; two brothers,  Louis (Irene) Myers and James (Theresa) Myers; 12 grandchildren, Frank, Sarah, Chrissy, Amanda, Stevie, Bobby, Kate, Jen, Eric, Kelli, Bob and Summer; 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a son, Michael S. Myers; a brother, John (Chick) Myers and a granddaughter, Samantha.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 3-6PM. 

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10AM at the funeral home. Face covering and social distancing are required both outside and inside during visitation and services.

Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
