Phyllis M. (Coonradt) Carner

Pittstown - Phyllis M. Coonradt Carner, 89, died Saturday, November 4, 2023, at her residence after a long illness.

Born in Sand Lake, she was daughter of the late Willard Coonradt and Ada Teal Coonradt and wife of the late Harvey A.  Carner. She was raised and resided in Sand Lake for many years and was a graduate of Averill Park High School. 

Phyllis was employed many years ago as a secretary for Behr-Manning in Watervliet and for many years was a homemaker.  

She loved baking, was a wonderful cook and enjoyed reading.    

Survivors include six daughters, Debra (late John) Adams, Wynantskill, Dawn  (late Bill) Doty, Troy, Dale (late Bob) Ishkanian, Troy, Kathy Carner, Troy, Yvonne (Chet) Lewandowski, Troy and Kimberly (Doug Empie) Reilly, Troy; a son, Harvey J. (Denise) Carner, Schaghticoke; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Grace Clinton and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Carner and two sisters, Doris Dean and Kaye Winn.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Thursday, at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Edward  Kacerguis, officiating. 

Interment will be in  Eagle Mills Cemetery Eagle Mills.
