Paula M. (Beierschoder) Wiesnet

Wynantskill  - Paula M. Beierschoder Wiesnet, 82, died Friday, May 3, 2024, at her residence after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Martin Beierschoder and Mary Huber Beierschoder and a loving wife for 48 years to the late Georg Josef  Wiesnet. She was a long time resident of Wynantskill and  a graduate of Catholic Central High School. 

After high school Paula was employed at the New York Telephone Company for several years until she married and began her second career as a homemaker.

Paula was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and St. Jude the Apostle Church.  She was a lifetime member of Troy Germania Hall in Troy.  She enjoyed coloring and puzzles, ordering pizza on Friday nights from Carol’s Place in Troy, taking care of her cat, Misty and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her 2 children, Carla Marie Leubner, Wynantskill and Craig Martin Wiesnet, Brunswick; her grandchildren, Joseph John Lynch IV, Wesley Leubner,  Darrick Michael Leubner,  Breanna Elizabeth Wiesnet, Carly Marie Leubner, and Georg Craig Wiesnet; and her son-in-law, Courtland Leubner and daughter-in-law, Christina  Maffey.  She was predeceased by her son, Mark Josef Wiesnet and sister, Carol Beierschoder.  

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 4 - 6PM. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10AM at  St. Jude the Apostle Church 43 Brookside Avenue Wynantskill. 

Interment will be in  St. Joseph's Cemetery Troy.
