BALLSTON LAKE - Paul E. Yamin, 64, went home to His Lord in Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Born in Troy, he was son of the late Daniel J. Yamin, Sr. and Anne C. Del Giacco Yamin. During Paul's years growing up with his family in Brainard, NY as well as the years he spent living in group homes and participating in day-programs, he touched the lives of many. Paul’s subtle and clever humor, his warm heart, and his ability to communicate love brought joy to those he crossed paths with.
Paul was involved in many academic and residential programs including Living Resources, Expressive Journeys, LLC., and Albany County ARC to name a few. Paul enjoyed hobbies that included creating art, enjoying music, and participating with community organizations by helping with meal preparation for communities in need and by helping local churches with folding and distributing their weekly bulletins.
Survivors include his siblings, Michele (Gene) Kohrs, Nassau, Daniel J. (Joleigh) Yamin Jr., Troy, MaryBeth 'Beth' (Thomas) Lampron, Watervliet, Anne Philippi, Lansingburgh, and Darien J. (Scott Adler) Yamin, Boca Raton, FL; his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Nathan (Molly) and Rachel Kohrs, Danielle (Jose) Serrano, Ryan (Rosa) and Mathew (Quincie) Yamin, Taylor (Whitney) and Blake (Caitlin) Philippi and Gabriella Lampron and great nieces and nephews, Jose and Jayden Serrano, Micah Yamin and Charlotte Yamin, Evelyn, Calvin and Desmond Philippi and his many beloved cousins.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 2-4PM with a funeral service to follow at 4PM with Pastor Charlie Muller, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Paul E. Yamin to the for-profit Expressive Journeys, LLC to make music therapy available to those who cannot afford the services.
