North Greenbush - Patrick J. Hogan, a retired NYS Trooper, 61, died Thursday, April 13, 2023, at his residence after a long illness.
Born in Troy, he was son of the late John Hogan and Tove Andersen Hogan and husband for nearly thirty years of Nancy A. Weber Hogan. He was raised in Troy and resided in North Greenbush for the past twenty-five years. Pat was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, Hudson Valley Community College and Siena College where he earned his Bachelor's Degree.
Pat spent twenty-two years with The New York State Police, retiring in 2018 as an Investigator.
He was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving over seven years including the conflict in Beirut, Lebanon and the Persian Gulf War.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his three children, Tyler, Emily and Kelly Hogan; his siblings, Michael Hogan, Peter (Lorraine) Hogan, Elizabeth Behan and Matthew Hogan and several nieces and nephews
Relatives and friends may call at Sacred Heart Church 475 Pawling Avenue, Troy on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 4-7 PM.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, at 11 AM at Sacred Heart Church 475 Pawling Avenue Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will be Thursday at 1:30PM at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Schuylerville.
