Norbert James Hepfinger

Troy - Norbert James Hepfinger, 61, died Friday, August 6, 2021, at St. Peter's Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was son of Lois Gatesman Hepfinger of Troy and the late Dr. Norbert F. Hepfinger. He had resided in Troy most of his life and recently for 15 years in New Hampshire. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and earned his engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. 

Norbert was an Electrical Engineer, working most recently as a consultant and previously worked at Sprague in Massachusetts as well as various other companies

As a Winter sports enthusiast, he loved skiing, snowshoeing and boating in the Summer.    

Survivors in addition to his mother include three brothers, Mark Joseph (Lisa) Hepfinger, Holliston, MA, David Jerome (Kathy) Hepfinger, Bonita Springs, FL and Andrew John (Colleen) Hepfinger, Prospect, KY; a sister, Theresa Ann (Mark) Lee, Wake Forest, NC and several nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10AM at Christ Sun of Justice, RPI Chapel and Cultural Center 2125 Burdett Avenue Troy with Rev. Edward  Kacerguis, officiating. Face covering and social distancing are required if not vaccinated.
