WEST SAND LAKE – Mildred P. Middleton Morse, 99, died Friday, January 10, 2025, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness.
Born in Sand Lake, she was daughter of the late Charles Lester Middleton and Mary Elizabeth McKenna Middleton and wife of the late Charles H. Morse. She had resided in the West Sand Lake area most of her life and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.
Mildred was a homemaker. She enjoyed cross-stitch, golfing, reading, vacationing at Cape Cod, MA and many years ago she took flying lessons.
Survivors include her children, Jayne (Fran) Piche, Little River, SC. Mary (Gary) Wilson, Dryden, NY, Sue (Mark) Leadbetter, Melrose, Daniel Morse, Santa Rosa, CA and Nancy (David) Hartstein, East Greenbush; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Charles H. Morse; a brother, Robert L. Middleton; a grandson, John Regula and a great granddaughter, Jacqueline Haverlock.
Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392NY150 West Sand Lake on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 4-6 PM.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Patricia A. Bush , officiating.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery West Sand Lake.
