Waterford - Michael James Jennings Jr., 51, of Hudson River Road died Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Troy, he was the son of Victoria Jean Bailey Bush of Stillwater and the late Michael J. Jennings Sr. of Albany. He was raised in Troy, and resided in Waterford for the last 19 years. He attended Troy High School and later completed the apprenticeship program through the IBEW Local #236 where he was a journeyman for the last 18 years. 

He enjoyed being with his friends and family, playing horseshoes, sport shooting, and watching NASCAR and football.    

Survivors in addition include his son, Michael D. Jennings, Troy; his former wife, Gingeretta D. McDade, East Greenbush, his three brothers, Donald J. Jennings, Sr., Valley Falls, Jeremy J. Jennings, Stillwater and Eric J. Jennings, Schaghticoke; nieces and nephews, Donald Jennings, Jr., Casey Jennings, Amber Jennings, Eric Jennings, Jr. and Phoenix Jennings.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 2-4PM.  Face covering and social distancing are required both outside and inside during visitation.
