Michael Carrao

East Greenbush - Michael Carrao, the patriarch of the Carrao family has bid farewell on Sunday, March 2, 2025.  He lived a full life with many memorable experiences with both family and friends.  He left a lasting impression on whomever was lucky enough to have had him in their life. 

He leaves behind three daughters, Judith Carhart, Mary Ann Patti and Michelle Burns; three grandsons, Michael D. Engwer, Sean M. Burns and Anthony M. Patti; two granddaughters, Mikayla Carhart and Nicolette Nohai; a great granddaughter, Lillian Engwer and one very special friend, Kathy Fesler. The ones who left before him, his wife Madeline Carrao; his son, Stephen Nohai; his siblings, Dominick and Gus Carrao and Marilyn George and a special family friend, Thomas Byington who was like a son to him.

As requested, there will be no service. Family will honor him “His Way”.
