Albany - Melinda Mulawka Mack, a nationally recognized expert and leader in workforce development, dies age 42. Melinda was born in Buffalo, daughter of Andrew Mulawka and the late JoAnn Kopp. Melinda earned her BA at the University of Buffalo and graduate degrees at the Rockefeller College (SUNY Albany).
Serving as Executive Director of NYATEP for the last decade she put the “force” in workforce. Melinda was a tireless advocate for investing in our nation’s greatest asset, people. She was brave, never afraid to stand up for what she knew was right yet recognized the value in being respectful. Melinda was a legend in the field and her passing leaves a void in the hearts of many.
Melinda is survived by her devoted husband Andrew Mack and three children, Lucas , Amélie and Emmeline.
