Mason Michael Kane

West Sand Lake -On October 11th, 2023 Mason Michael Kane of West Sand Lake, New York, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27.  

Mason, known as "Mase" to most, is the beloved son of Connie and Bruce Coyne. He is the dedicated brother of Courtney Lou Hilt, Trenton Kane, and step-sister Kiley Wait and uncle to River and Spencer Hilt, Killian and Brock Kane, and Molly Wait. He will also be missed by his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and David Denue, as well as his aunts, uncles, and many cousins. 

Mase's greatest joy in life was spoiling his niece and nephews and watching them grow. He wore all their names proudly displayed on his skin adorned with a crown. He always made sure his fridge was stocked with the best treats. Coffee, chocolate, donuts---nothing was off limits as far as Uncle Mase was concerned. His nephews, Killian Michael Kane and Brock Mason Kane carry his namesake. A testament to how much Mase is loved by his family. 

A life-long resident of West Sand Lake, Mason attended Averill Park schools. His work ethic was unmatched. As a long-term employee of Kay's Pizza he looked forward to working each season. It was there he met and fell in love with his girlfriend, Dani Martes. 

Mason appreciated life's luxuries big and small. He believed good food should be enjoyed often, that your shoes (more specifically sneakers) can make or break an outfit, and that family is all you really need in life. Those who know Mason best will carry on his memory as someone who was fiercely loyal, loving, and committed to his family and friends.
