Brunswick - Mary Adeline Teeling Kuhl, 91, formerly of Town Office Road entered into the presence of the Lord on January 10, 2022, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness.
Born in Albany, she was daughter of the late Robert Teeling and Irene DesForge Teeling. She had resided in Brunswick for many years and was a graduate of Albany High School and Spencer Business Institute in Schenectady.
Mary was retired in 1985 from NY Telephone as a design supervisor.
She was a faithful volunteer at both Loudonville Community Church and Loudonville Christian School for many years. Mary loved spending time with her family and had a witty sense of humor. Everyone went to “Grandma Kuhl” for their sewing needs as she was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed musicals, sitting in the sunshine, traveling and doing puzzles. And boy, did she like her coffee…
Survivors include two sons, James (Joanne) Baldwin and Bruce (Pamm) Kuhl; her grandchildren, James (Christie), Robert (Chrystal) and Michael (Danielle) Baldwin and Samantha (Andrew) Moroz, Heidi (Matt) Young, Trevor Kuhl and Jamie (Charles) Sickler; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert (Eleanor), Joseph (Eva), Charles, John (Elizabeth), James (Margaret) and Louis (Jaqueline) Teeling.
The family would like to thank her wonderful home aides and amazing staff at Van Rensselaer Manor and hospice for their great care and concern.
A private memorial will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mary Adeline Kuhl to The Capital City Rescue Mission, 229 South Pearl Street, Albany, NY 12201.
