North Greenbush - Mary A. Caulfield, 90, passed away Friday, March 7th, 2025, at her residence after a brief illness.
Born in Granville, NY, she was daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Zayachek and wife of the late Thomas F. Caulfield. She was raised in Mechanicville, where she attended Mechanicville Schools. She resided in the West Sand Lake and Averill Park areas for over 60 years prior to moving to Eastwyck Circle.
Mary was the bookkeeper at the family-owned Albany Marine Supply, a position she held for the past 60 years. She loved crafts especially knitting and sewing, as well as spending time with her family and friends in the Eastwyck community. Mary was an avid reader and gardener. She enjoyed watching tennis and the New York Mets. She had a love for animals and was involved in fostering dogs.
Survivors include a son, Thomas F. (Kathleen A) Caulfield, Duanesburg; a daughter, Mary Ann (David D) Ralston, Toronto, Canada; daughter-in-laws Colleen Caulfield, Ormond Beach, FL and Leslie Caulfield, Windsor, CA; niece, Chris Thrane, Ballston Lake; her grandchildren, Mark Thomas, Jason William, Dustin Michael, Ross Thomas, Jesse Vincent Caulfield and Lucas & Mia Graves; five great grandchildren - Austin, McKenzie, Brody, Gavin and Hudson. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Thomas, and two sons, William J. and Michael J. Caulfield.
Mary’s warm smile and infectious personality will be missed dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated, Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11AM at St. Henry's Church, 39 Old Route 66 Averill Park.
