Marjorie 'Margie' A. Ritrovato

Troy - Marjorie ‘Margie’ A. Ritrovato, 81, died Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Salvatore N. Ritrovato and Dorothy Murray Ritrovato. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School. 

Margie was the owner, operator and bartender of Margie's Grill on Fourth Street Troy for 37 years retiring June 1, 2019.   

She had her beautician's license and also worked as a waitress prior to opening Margie's Grill.   
 
Survivors include a brother,  Anthony Leo (Patricia) Ritrovato, Florida; and several nieces and nephews who she considered the joy of her life.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Dolores Marie Madsen, Beverly Joan Ritrovato, Sally Jean  Horton, and Salvatore Nicholas Ritrovato III who passed on May 14th.

A special thank you to Scott and Ellen Chandler, her caregivers.  She was also survived by her long time friend, Sam Agostino.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, June20, 2022 from 4-7PM. 

A funeral service will be held Tuesday June 21st at 11:30AM at the funeral home and at 12 Noon  from Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas, Pastor. 

Interment will be in  Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
