Troy - Marion Lee LaDieu Yaiser, 96, of Gurley Avenue died Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Harvey LaDieu and Susan Peacock LaDieu and wife of the late Edward A. Yaiser. She had resided in the Lansingburgh area all her life and attended Lansingburgh schools.
Mrs. Yaiser was the receptionist for Dr. Austin Corbett in Troy for 20 years retiring in 1982.
She was an active member of Brunswick Church and worked with the Youth Group of the church and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her five children, Donna (John) Owens, Menands, Cheryl (John) Yaiser-Burns, Troy, Edward Yaiser, Troy, Susan Vanderburgh, Troy and David (Virginia) Yaiser, Speigletown; thirteen grandchildren, Timothy and Steven Owens, Rachel Sunukjian, Susan Cavanaugh, Tracey Franklin, David Ray, Christopher Yaiser, Simon Bassett, Sara and Donald Deroucher and David, Craig and Andrew Yaiser; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Harvey, Charles and Donald LaDieu.
Relatives and friends may call at the Brunswick Church 42 White Church Lane on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 10-11AM with a funeral service to follow at 11AM with Rev. Henry Kim, Pastor and Rev. Harry Heintz, Former Pastor, officiating.
Private interment will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery Troy.
