She is survived by her husband, C. Terry Wiegert and her two sons, Eric (Jeanna) Wiegert of Scotia and Mark (Michelle) Wiegert of Schaghticoke. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Blake, Piper, and Aiden. Also surviving her are her younger sister, Barbara Campbell of Schodack and Lake Worth, FL and her older brother Col. Marilyn grew up in South Troy and graduated from Troy High School, Class of 1961 (Class Treasurer). She was employed for much of her adult life in the payroll unit of the Office of State Comptroller, taking a break during her children’s younger years, and retiring in 2002. When her children were in elementary school she worked at the Forts Ferry (North Colonie) and Dorothy Nolan (Saratoga) Schools.
She was a volunteer with the BSA, including pack and Troop 670 in Cohoes and assisted with many council and district events for the Fort Orange District and Twin Rivers Council. Among her favorite activities were trips to Las Vegas and anywhere a one armed bandit could be found. She and friends often spent afternoons winning at Saratoga or the Rivers Casino, but her favorite pastime was visiting with her grandchildren.
