Maria M. (Huber) Crawley

Poestenkill - Maria M. Crawley, 57, of  Victorian Drive passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 after a courageous battle with breast cancer

Born in Hudson, NY, she was daughter of the late James Huber and Dora DiMauro Huber and wife for 26 years of the late Joseph W. Crawley, who passed away in November of 2020. She was a resident of Poestenkill for the past 21 years, a 1982 graduate of Mercy High School and earned her Bachelor's degree in English from Siena College.

Maria worked at NYS Higher Education from 1987 to 2000 and was always helping Joe out at Screen-It Ltd. in Troy. 

Maria enjoyed gardening in her beautiful backyard, going to see her favorite bands live, and discovering new music. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and special tribe of friends. She also loved traveling around the world and exploring new places. But her greatest joy in life was being anywhere with Joe and their two boys. 

Survivors include her sons, Benjamin J.E. Crawley and Henry J.E. Crawley, of Poestenkill; her brother, Michael Huber, Albany and sister, Patricia (Tyson) Lamb, Greenwood, AR; her mother-in-law, Marilyn F Crawley, Poestenkill; several nieces and nephews and a loving family in Italy. 

She was also preceded in death by her late brother, John Huber, of Altamont.

There will be no services at this time.
