Troy - Margaret K. Mouawad passed on Tuesday, February 16th , 2021 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born in Long Island, N.Y. to the late Harold and Harriet (McCarthy) Wieboldt, Margaret obtained her degree with honors from SUNY Albany in Political Science and had a long career working for the US Postal Service as a Supervisor.
Margaret, also known as Maggie, had a passion for traveling and enjoyed reading novels, hiking the Adirondack peaks, and meeting people from all walks of life. Maggie lit up a room when she entered with her boisterous and fun-loving personality. She was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and overall love of life.
Maggie was predeceased by her siblings, Richard Wieboldt and Patricia DeLucia, and her great nephew, Jacob Kipling. Maggie is survived by her children’s father, Michael Mouawad, and her children, Joseph Mouawad (Kailyn), Jamileh Robinson (Seth), Charles Mouawad (Jessica), and Francis Mouawad and her grandchildren, Ian, Giavonna, Thomas, Cathia, Reema, Stella, and Ameena. She is also survived by her siblings, Robert Wieboldt (Marie), Laurel Karimi (Reza), Valerie Levay, Harriet Gotz (Myer), John Wieboldt, Mavis Korosec (Tom), Kristen Adams (Robert), and many beloved nieces and nephews.
There will be a private service for family with a celebration of life memorial planned at a later date.
