Margaret Elizabeth (Quinlivan) Bonney

Brunswick - Margaret E. Bonney, 86, died Monday, July 7, 2025, at Schuyler Ridge Health Care Clifton Park after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Francis Quinlivan and Blanche Fauteux Quinlivan and wife of the late William L. Bonney. She had resided in Troy and Brunswick all her life and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and St. Peters Nursing School.

Margaret was a Registered Nurse at Samaritan Hospital for 35 years, retiring in 1996.   

She was a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed gardening and golfing and was an active communicant and volunteer at Our Lady of Victory Church. She and her husband wintered in Port Charlotte, Florida for several years. 

Survivors include her children, William Q. (Nadine) Bonney, San Diego, CA, Margaret M. (Marc) Funiciello, Ballston Spa, Theresa B. (Todd) Kramm, The Villages, FL, David F. Bonney, Troy and Michael G. (Mary) Bonney, Troy; her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ryan) O'Herin, Michael (Brittany) Kramm and Jordan, Julia and Jacob Bonney; two great grandchildren, Zayne and Cillian O'Herin; a sister, Ann Perry and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Gavigan.  

Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Victory Church 55 North Lake Avenue Troy on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 10AM- 12 Noon with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 12 Noon. 

Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
