Cohoes - After a brief illness, Lynn passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2023 surrounded by her compassionate and attentive care givers at Albany Medical Center.
Lynn grew up in West Sand Lake with her parents who preceded her, Robert and Constance (Hart) Bleau, and four surviving siblings; Donn (San Diego), Susan Speciale (East Greenbush), Gary (San Diego) and Andrea Schmidt (Belleville, IL). Lynn also leaves behind a beloved son, Stephen Neils, of Troy and seven nieces and nephews.
After attending Averill Park High School, Lynn remained in the Capital District Region living most of her adult life in Watervliet and more recently in Cohoes. She was happiest when the weather allowed her to work in her backyard, especially during springtime, preparing her garden to help nurture flowers to bloom. This was always with her
favorite cat(s) by her side. Lynn had a big heart and was known throughout her neighborhood for being generous to those in need.
A service in remembrance of Lynn will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11AM at the Good Grounds Family Church, 49 Johnston Ave, Cohoes, NY 12047.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local Humane Society.
