Lester H. "Butch" Pike

Castleton-On-Hudson - Lester H. (Butch) Pike Jr., 74, died Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Burlington, VT, he was the son of the late Lester H. Pike Sr. and Beatrice Marie Mongeon Pike. He had resided in Wynantskill for many years, moving in 2017 to Castleton. He was a graduate of Averill Park Schools.

Butch was a shipper for Ross Valve Manufacturing Company, Inc. for 47 years, retiring in 2014.

He was a member of Apollo-King Solomon's Masonic Lodge #13, Palestine Star Chapter 167 Order of the Eastern Star.  

Survivors include his brother, Robert H. Pike; and several nieces, nephews and second cousins.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery in Rensselaer.
