Lena (Silla) Coleman

Schaghticoke - Lena Coleman, 97, died Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the residence of her daughter after a long  illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Philip Silla and Angela Mansilli Silla and wife of the late John E.  Coleman. She had resided all her life in Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School and Austin Beauty School in Albany. 

Lena was employed as a homemaker.

Survivors include her two daughters, Gay E. Murrisky, Saratoga Springs and Doreen L. Gerighty, Lansingburgh; four grandchildren, Dana McClure, Matthew Murrisky, John David Gerighty and Deidra Gerighty and a great granddaughter, Grace McClure.  She was predeceased by two sisters, Enne Brandt and Erma Hall.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1PM at Oakwood Cemetery Troy.  Please gather by 12:45PM at the Oakwood Avenue entrance.
