Laurie Marie (Sauter) Williams

Laurie Marie (Sauter) Williams, 53, of West Sand Lake, passed away suddenly, on August 10th 2022.

Laurie was born in Schenectady, NY to Ronald and Esther Sauter on January 31st, 1969. She attended Shaker High School and graduated in 1987. She loved reading, education and was a strong advocate for equality and Civil rights. 

She graduated nursing school in 1998 and became a stay at home mom after the birth of her first child. 

Laurie is survived by her three children: Selene Q. Wolf, Keira Williams and Salem Williams. Laurie is also survived by her siblings: Michael (Daniele) Sauter of Averill Park, NY; David (Lynn) Sauter of Glenville, NY; Kristen (Craig) LaFollette of Newberry, FL; and Julie (Jennifer) Barona of Newberry, FL. 

She was a loving Aunt to Austin, Hannah, Amelia, Piper, Graylyn & Mackenzie.

She was recently preceded in death by her father and mother.

Family and friends are invited to share memories of Laurie and celebrate her life on August 28th, 2022 from 3pm - 7pm at the West Sand Lake Firehouse 3697 NY Route 43 West Sand Lake, NY 12196.
