Poestenkill - Kevin F. Mack, age 64, passed away at his home Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Born in Troy on January 23, 1960, he was the son of Janet A. Lewis Mack and the late Thomas F. Mack and husband for 40 years of Renee Dyer Mack.
Kevin graduated from Sacred Heart School and Catholic Central High School in Troy, and was a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College, with a degree in Industrial Process Control. Kevin worked for 36 years for General Electric Silicones and Momentive Performance Materials at the Waterford site, retiring in 2021 as a Senior Control Systems Operator.
Kevin was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling to Tennessee to spend time with his grandchildren.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Renee, his beloved daughters, Courtney (Tory) Napolitano and Brittney Mack (Tyler Schmidt) and his beloved grandchildren, Emma and Luke Napolitano.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include his siblings, Cheryl (Rick) Mack/McClure, John (Erin) Mack, Maureen (Lance) Rogers and Thomas (Darcy) Mack; several nieces and a nephew, grand niece and grand nephew.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 4-7PM.
Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in St. Jean's Cemetery Troy.
