Kathleen A. (Walsh) Nikles

Schenectady - Kathleen A. Nikles, 87, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness.

Born and raised in Poestenkill, NY, she was daughter of the late Frank T. Walsh, Sr. and Catherine  Pollock Walsh and wife of the late Joseph F.  Nikles, Jr.

Kathleen loved to shop, walk and spend time in the neighborhood community and sit in the sun.  She was always looking out for everyone.

Survivors include her nephews, Frank (Joanna) Walsh, Averill Park and Brian (Maureen) Walsh, Poestenkill and her niece, Shannon (Allen) Hemphill, Georgia and their children; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph F. Nikles, III and her brother, Frank T. Walsh, Jr.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 10 - 11AM followed by a service at 11AM  with Deacon Charles Wojton. Face covering and social distancing are required if not vaccinated.

Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
