Stephentown - Judith A. VanBuren Lewis, 53, of State Rt 43 died Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Albany, she was daughter of David J. VanBuren and Judith A. Robertson VanBuren of Averill Park and wife of Todd B. Lewis. She had resided in Averill Park most of her life and in Stephentown for the past 6 years and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.
Judy was a cashier at Hannaford's Market in East Greenbush for 5 years.
She loved horse rescue, all wildlife and spending time with her grand-kids.
Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include a son, Kyle B. Lewis, Sr.; two grandsons, Kyle B. Lewis, Jr. and Mase R. Lewis; two sisters, Karen (Darin) Masse and Bernadette (Jack) VanBuren; a brother, David J. VanBuren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392NY150 West Sand Lake on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 9-11 AM with a funeral service following at 11AM with Rev. Thomas F. Holmes, officiating. Face covering and social distancing are required if not vaccinated.
A private interment will be in St. Henry's Cemetery Averill Park.
