Queensbury - Josephine ‘Josie’ Kazanjian Speanburg, 94, formerly of Tibbits Avenue Troy died Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Glens Falls Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Armen Kazanjian and Nouritza Patanian Kazanjian and wife of the late Richard W. Speanburg, Sr. She had resided in the Troy area all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School and Troy Business College.
Josie worked many years for IBM and later for Key Bank doing data entry.
She was a member of St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church in Watervliet.
She is survived by many cousins and was predeceased by a sister, Alice Kazanjian.
Funeral service private at the convenience of the family at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church 100 Troy-Schenectady Road Watervliet.
Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
