Joanne Frances Kearns

Troy - Joanne Frances Kearns, 84, died Friday, April 26, 2024, at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center Troy, after a long illness.

Born in Albany, she was daughter of the late Martin Kearns and Jeannette Cohen Kearns. She had resided in West Sand Lake and since 1947 in Troy and was a graduate of St. Francis School and attended a beauty school locally.  Joanne was a seamstress in a quilting factory in Troy and a homemaker.  Joanne was a communicant and in the church choir of the former St. Francis de Sales Church in Troy and a volunteer at Samaritan Hospital.  There are no immediate survivors and a special friend, Noel Hains. 

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 9:30AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Edward  Kacerguis, officiating.  Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Troy. We recommend using the brycefuneralhome.com website to share or send condolences and light a candle.
