Joan E. (French) Furciniti

Cohoes - Joan E. French Furciniti, 85, formerly of Latham died Monday, June 3, 2024, at Eddy Village Green after a long illness.
                
Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Edward T. French, Sr. and Mildred  Mambert French and wife of the late Frank G.  Furciniti. She was raised in Troy and resided in Latham since 1972 and attended Troy High School. 

Joan worked for Montgomery Ward in Menands, Coca-Cola for 15 years and for Pepsi Bottling in Menands and Latham in accounting for 30 years, retiring in 1999.   

She enjoyed gardening, reading, spending time with her grandchildren and going to lunch with her girl friends.    

Survivors include her two dedicated daughters, Deborah (Willie) Peters, Troy and Lori (Robert) Conrad, Latham; her grandchildren, Joshua (Angela) Jones, Chad (Kara) Peters, and Randy (Patty)  Furciniti; her great grandchildren, Evan and Andrew Jones, Lily St. Louis (Peters); her step grandsons, Andy, Billy, and Chris Peters; 9 step great grandchildren;  8 step great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings, William R. French, Captain Edward T. French, Jr., Thomas D. French, Richard J. French and Nancy Burns.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 9-11 AM with funeral service to follow at 11AM with Rev. Karyl Hopp, officiating. 

Interment will be in  Evergreen Cemetery Wynantskill.
